Imagine this combination - fresh air and rosy cheeks, raising heart rates by exercising in a challenging, but fun way – rural boot camp, Pilates, cross country running/orienteering, core work, singing from the heart and relaxation, - shared with friends, enjoying excellent food, in a restful, quiet, away from it all, residential opportunity in beautiful rural countryside.
I have always loved being active and outdoors – so this weekend is a dream for me – to bring together those who have an interest/passion for exercise and singing – I would love to share with my singing friends as they exercise, and my exercising friends as they enjoy singing!! There is a natural link as both these activities generate endorphins which create a naturally induced “feel good factor” – A Natural High, the best therapy there could possibly be! So I have drawn together a star line up of excellent session leaders, all of whom have a passion for singing and exercise and general well-being of mind and soul!!
I met Lucy Wintle on a singing weekend in Ludlow - she manages her own Pilates Studio, in Canterbury and once she’d met me, it wasn’t long before she took up triathlon!! Say no more! Lucy and I have run several very successful Pilates/Boot camp residential experiences in Kent. Then we talked of wanting to involve our other love of singing on such a weekend. So we tried a song or two out on our unsuspecting clients at the last weekend – we had such an amazing response so we were determined to bring our little bit of magic back to this neck of the woods!
Then Abbie Lathe is the reason why we love singing so much!! And guess what, recently she’s discovered the joy of running and wanted to come and join in on our Natural High Weekend – so if she’s coming along, she might as well lead a session or two – you will not believe her energy and love of life, along with her ability to bring singing to all of us in a very special way!
